Sand Diver

Sand Diver brings scuba training to the heart of Riyadh, offering landlocked divers a place to learn and practise long before they reach open water. Set within the Andorra Village compound, the centre pairs an onsite training pool and classroom with everyday comforts — a retail shop, food and drinks, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, parking and onsite accommodation.

Courses and trips

As a PADI Dive Center, Sand Diver runs a wide range of PADI certifications, from scuba diving and snorkelling to EFR first aid. When it's time for real dives, the team organises trips to Jeddah with intercity transport, beach entry fees, all the gear you need, an English-speaking female assistant and an extra discovery dive included.

Alongside training, the shop sells diving and swimming products and rents scuba gear, kids' equipment and DPV scooters. Trips head out to sites such as Abu Tair, Shiab Alkabir and la plag, where divers may encounter sharks, rays, turtles, corals and reef fish. Staff speak English and Arabic — a welcoming choice for beginners and city-based divers alike.
