Savedra Dive Center

Founded in 1983, Savedra Dive Center has sat at the heart of Moalboal's dive scene for over four decades. As one of the Philippines' most established PADI 5 Star CDC centers — and a PADI Eco Center — it pairs high-quality training with a genuine commitment to protecting the marine environment.

Sites, sardines and a house reef out front

The famous Sardine Run happens right off the beach here, reachable by a simple shore entry year-round — no boat required. Beyond it lie world-class sites like Pescador Island, with its cathedral-like swim-throughs and colorful walls, plus Tongo Point and Ronda Bay marine sanctuaries, the Airplane Wreck and Sunken Island. Expect turtles, snapper, batfish, barracuda and the occasional reef shark. The center's own house reef is a coral slope leading to a deep wall, alive with biodiversity.

With 5 PADI Instructors and 5 languages spoken, Savedra suits everyone from first-time Open Water students to those chasing pro-level training. Fun divers can pick from Deep, Drift and Night Diver courses, or the 10-Dive Moalboal Reef Package. It's set right in the middle of Panagsama Beach.
