Scuba Center

Since 1973, Scuba Center has been teaching scuba diving classes in Minneapolis, and it holds a notable place in the state's diving history: it was Minnesota's first PADI 5 Star Training Facility and has grown into Minnesota's largest scuba diving school and one of the largest in the Midwest.

Courses for every level

The center offers a complete range of PADI training, from Open Water Diver for beginners through Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Specialty courses, Emergency First Response, Nitrox, Divemaster and the full PADI Instructor Development Course. Certified divers can keep their skills sharp with ReActivate and Buoyancy classes. With 30 PADI Instructors and a PADI 5 Star IDC rating, instruction runs deep here.

On site you'll find a retail shop, air conditioning, air fills, equipment sales and scuba rental, plus travel and conservation activities. Rental gear includes BCDs, 7mm wetsuits, regulators, dive computers and aluminium cylinders. English is spoken, making Scuba Center a strong fit for anyone starting out or advancing all the way to instructor.
