Scuba School and Family Dive Center Belize

Based in San Pedro, Belize, Scuba School and Family Dive Center is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with 6 PADI instructors. It holds a distinction it's genuinely proud of: it is the only dive center accepted by the government of Belize as an educational training facility. That means its instructors are registered as teachers and drug tested every year, and its standards sit under both PADI and Belizean government oversight.

Courses and diving

With 26 courses and activities on offer, there's a clear path for every level. Beginners and casual divers can start with a One Tank Dive from USD 57 or a Two Tank Dive, while those building skills can move through PADI Underwater Navigator, Deep Diver, and Rescue Diver. Dedicated tracks like the Shark Package and the PADI Proficient Package (OW + AOW) go further still.

Local dive sites include Tuffy Inn, Esmeralda Canyons, and Esmeralda, where divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, and ocean fish. With a waterfront location, its own dive boat, onsite accommodation, and staff who speak English and Spanish, it suits new students and experienced divers alike.
