Now under new local ownership, Scuba Star is a friendly, full-service dive shop in Wilton Manors, Fort Lauderdale. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center with 5 PADI Instructors, it's built around a genuine passion for South Florida diving—with small classes and flexible schedules that suit divers at every stage.

Courses and diving

Whether you're just starting out or working toward pro, the range runs from the PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Referral to specialties like Enriched Air (Nitrox), Deep Diver, Dry Suit Diver, and Digital Underwater Photographer. Emergency First Response training is offered too, and Half-Day Dive Trips start from USD 110.

Local diving covers the Southern Broward County Reefs and wrecks including the Mercedes I, Jay Scutti, Jim Atria, and Hog Heaven, where you might spot sharks, turtles, rays, eels, and reef fish. With air fills, gear sales and rental, an onsite classroom, retail shop, and dive boat, Scuba Star suits new divers and seasoned locals alike.
