Since opening its doors in Cincinnati in 1974, Scuba Unlimited has given local residents a close-up look at the underwater world. As a PADI 5 Star IDC with 13 PADI Instructors, this full-service scuba and snorkeling center is built around a commitment to customers and a dedication to education — and its non-commission staff help you find the right gear to rent or buy, then keep it running with maintenance and repair.

Courses, dive sites and who it suits

Divers can build skills across a broad slate of PADI programs, including Advanced Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Deep Diver, Underwater Navigator, Search and Recovery Diver, Fish Identification and Emergency First Response — plus a Dive With Us option to simply get in the water. Local diving centers on Sugar Grove Quarry, where you might spot freshwater fish among the marine life on show.

With an onsite classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop and parking, it's a comfortable home base for beginners and continuing-education divers alike.
