Scuba West

Diving with divers since 1968, Scuba West is the largest dive center in both Pasco and Hernando County, Florida, and has held PADI Five Star IDC Center status since 2012. With 7 PADI Instructors on the team, it's a place built for divers of every experience level, from first breaths underwater to continuing education.

Dive Hudson Grotto

The center's own prehistoric dive site, Hudson Grotto, is the oldest in Pasco county. This natural Florida inland site holds fossils, solution tubes and a range of fun underwater attractions, including speed boats, statuettes and training platforms. Freshwater fish and friendly soft-shelled turtles greet divers right at the dock.

Facilities include an onsite training pool, a classroom, air conditioning, a retail shop and parking, all at a waterfront location. Services run from air fills and nitrox to mixed gas, equipment sales, servicing and rental, plus a dive club and travel. It suits divers wanting freshwater training and easy inland exploration close to Crystal River.
