Your adventure begins at Scuba World in Dover, Delaware. A PADI 5 Star IDC center training divers and serving the diving community since 1989, Scuba World runs on the strength of 20 PADI instructors — enough hands on staff to fit lessons around your schedule, day or night.

Courses and local diving

The teaching ladder runs from first-time PADI Scuba Diving all the way to instructor-level courses, alongside PADI TecRec, Mermaid, Snorkelling and EFR first aid. Nearby waters give students and certified divers places to log time, including Willow Springs, Willow Springs Quarry, the Dover YMCA and Indian River Inlet, where sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish are among the marine life encountered.

Beyond classes, the shop keeps an onsite classroom, retail store and parking, plus air fills, nitrox, equipment sales, service and repairs, and rental gear for adults and kids. English-speaking and geared toward everyone from newcomers to instructor candidates, Scuba World is where dreams become reality.
