Scubapro Shop Futo

Tucked into the waterfront at Futo in Shizuoka, Japan, Scubapro Shop Futo is a PADI Resort where the entry point sits just ten seconds' walk away — so there's little gear-hauling between arrival and your first descent. With two PADI Instructors leading small, divided teams, the shop supports everyone from first-timers to seasoned divers both in the water and on land.

What it's known for

This is a place built around comfort and connection. The clubhouse doubles as a resort with onsite accommodation, so you can relax after a dive, eat while looking out over the sea, and unwind in the natural hot-spring bath. In the colder months, drysuit rental is offered free of charge, keeping the diving comfortable year-round.

On offer you'll find PADI scuba diving and snorkelling, a house reef right on the doorstep, equipment sales and rental — including rebreather (CCR) and scooter (DPV) rental — plus an onsite classroom, retail shop, Wi-Fi and parking. A dive club and conservation activities round out the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Japanese is spoken.
