SEADIVE

Tucked into a waterfront setting on Oshima in Japan, SEADIVE is a PADI Resort with a deliberately laid-back atmosphere. The philosophy here is simple: dive safely, comfortably, and with a smile. It's a shop that genuinely welcomes beginners, so if you're still building confidence or feeling nervous about walking in alone for the first time, this is a place designed to put you at ease.

Small teams, personal attention

With 2 PADI Instructors on hand, groups are kept small — usually 4 people, and capped at 6 on busy days like holidays. Teams are arranged around each diver's experience, taking into account details like your number of dives and how recently you last dived, so everyone can relax and enjoy the water at their own pace.

Beneath the surface, divers may encounter sharks, whales and turtles. The centre offers Nitrox and equipment sales, along with a full range of scuba rental gear, and takes part in conservation activities. On land you'll find air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, parking and onsite accommodation. Service is in Japanese.
