About Seagrape Plantation Resort

Set in West End on the Honduran island of Roatan, Seagrape Dive Center is a locally owned and operated dive shop built around the island's coral reefs. Its local divemasters and instructors know Roatan's dive sites thoroughly and guide divers safely through the underwater landscape, with three dive boats and a dedicated dock that mean more time in the water and less time waiting.

Courses and diving for every level

As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with two PADI instructors, Seagrape suits everyone from first-timers to certified divers. Take a PADI course, join relaxed fun dives, or head out after dark on a night dive. Nitrox is available, along with scuba equipment rental including kids' gear, plus PADI Snorkelling and EFR first aid training.

Beneath the surface you may encounter sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. On land you'll find an onsite training pool and classroom, a retail shop, free Wi-Fi, parking and onsite accommodation in a waterfront setting. English and Spanish are both spoken.

Great service! They rushed us back to our cruise ship so we weren't stranded :}.

This is a small, local resort. Rooms are clean, Mariela and all the other women working the front office are very friendly and accommodating for anything you need. They have high speed internet on-site for an affordable price so no waiting at an internet cafe in town. Make sure to get a bungalow room to enjoy the sea view and hammock on your porch. There is no beach, only iron shore, but all the beaches on Roatan have sand fleas so you're not missing much. No restaurant on-site but the walk in to town is quick and safe, though make sure to bring a flashlight for the periodic power outage. The dive shop connected with the resort is also great! It's a small dive shop with small groups going out on each dive most of the time. The largest group was 14 people and the smallest was my friend, the dive instructor, and me. The divemaster, Wendell, and dive instructor, Tony, are locals and know the best spots to go to see what you want to see. It's definitely a place I would go back to visit! Get the dive package to save a little money.
