Ship-Shop

Ship-Shop is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center based in Basel, Switzerland, and a genuine one-stop shop for anyone who loves the water. It carries a very large selection of diving equipment and runs courses that carry you all the way from your first breaths underwater to the professional level.

Courses and who it suits

With five PADI Instructors on the team, Ship-Shop caters equally to nervous first-timers and experienced divers chasing new ratings. Beginner-to-pro training means you can start from scratch or keep building qualifications with the same trusted crew. Staff speak English, French, German, Italian, Serbian and Turkish, so language is rarely a barrier.

The centre is well set up for both training and self-sufficient diving. Alongside equipment sales and scuba rental, it offers air fills plus Nitrox and Trimix, with a retail shop, air conditioning and parking on site. Rental kit spans regulators, BCDs, dive computers, gauges, wetsuits and cylinders in a range of sizes, including children's sizes for younger divers.
