Singapore American School

Singapore American School isn't your typical dive shop — it's a PADI Dive Center built around the SAS community of students, parents, and teachers. Courses for the community can be organised in minimum groups of four, with instruction conducted in English and an onsite training pool to find your feet before heading out.

Learn with a seasoned PADI pro

Instruction is led by SAS teacher and PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer James Diebley, a PADI professional for over 25 years who first learned to dive on the tropical Pacific island of Guam. He has dived many of the top sites across the Asia/Pacific region, leading trips for students, parents, and teachers along the way.

Beyond PADI Scuba Diving courses, the centre offers PADI First Aid (EFR) training. There's also an e-learning option, so you can clear the theory before an upcoming holiday — and tap James's years of experience for advice on dive equipment and where to dive. It's a natural fit for the SAS community looking to get certified close to home.
