Slo Ocean Currents

SLO Ocean Currents is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center based in Santa Barbara, with a team of Divemasters ready to guide you whether you're new to scuba or simply unfamiliar with the local waters. Give a couple of days' notice and the staff will help you make the most of a shore dive or a day spent diving the Channel Islands.

Courses for every level

If you've never dived before, the team can teach you to SCUBA this year. Already certified? Continue your education through a range of specialty options. There's also a snorkeling class designed for first-timers, where staff help you select, use, and care for your gear for years to come.

Feeling a little rusty? A refresher course gets you back to dive speed in just a few hours, covering the basics like dive tables, equipment, diving theory, and modern dive science, followed by a session in the pool. You can even add a guided ocean dive as an option. Locally, divers can explore the dive site at Target Rock.
