South Florida Diving Headquarters

Set on the waterfront in Pompano Beach, Florida, South Florida Diving Headquarters is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with a team of 15 PADI instructors and a fleet built for time in the water. With three dive and snorkel boats departing two to three times a day — and now a fourth boat running out of Boynton Beach — there's the possibility of four to six dives, plus more than 50 dive sites to explore.

Courses for every level

Whether you're stepping into the water for the first time or building on existing skills, there's a clear path here. Try Scuba in South Florida needs no certification (from USD 265), while the PADI Open Water Certification (from USD 900) and PADI Advanced Open Water (from USD 1025) take you further. You can also earn open water and Nitrox certification together in two days (from USD 1100), or finish your check-out dives in warm Florida waters (from USD 470).

An onsite training pool, classroom, and enriched air (Nitrox) round out the setup, with staff speaking English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Portuguese — making it a welcoming base for new and returning divers alike.
