Southeast Texas's full-time PADI Five Star centre

Southeast Texas Scuba LLC is the region's only full-time PADI Five Star Dive Center, based in Groves, Texas, and serving the Beaumont area. It's veteran owned and operated, with six PADI instructors on the team — a small, hands-on operation for divers who'd rather learn from people who know them by name.

The course line-up covers the classic progression. PADI Open Water Certification runs roughly four days from USD 550, while Advanced Open Water takes about two days from USD 499. Divers looking to sharpen specific skills can add Emergency First Response (one day, from USD 149) or Enriched Air Diver (one day, from USD 220). The centre also offers PADI Public Safety Diver training.

Facilities are geared toward comfortable classroom-and-shop days: an onsite classroom, air conditioning and a retail shop, plus air fills, equipment sales and scuba rental including BCD, 5mm wetsuit, regulator, dive computer and aluminium cylinders. Instruction is in English.
