Southeastern Divers, Inc.

Since 1980, Southeastern Divers has been introducing newcomers to the sport of scuba diving across North Alabama. This PADI 5 Star Dive Center in Huntsville specialises in teaching beginners, and its instructors have issued over 5,000 diver certifications — the kind of track record that makes it a natural home for anyone learning to dive.

Courses and continuing education

The centre's three PADI Instructors cover a full range of training, from PADI Scuba Diving and Freediving to Snorkelling, technical TecRec, and First Aid (EFR). An Open Water certification is really your "license to learn," and most continuing education courses here ask for minimal academic work and no pool work — you gain experience simply by going diving.

On site you'll find a classroom, retail shop, air conditioning, and parking, along with equipment sales and rental. Divers can arrange air fills, nitrox, trimix, and mixed gas fills too. Instruction is offered in English, making Southeastern Divers well suited to first-time divers ready to build real skills in the water.
