Southern Cross Club

Set on the waterfront of Little Cayman, the Southern Cross Club offers first-class diving in one of the world's most well known dive destinations, regularly featured in lists of top dive spots around the globe. Founded in 1954, it is a long-established diving resort — and one that has actually discovered and named many of the dive sites still in use around Little Cayman today.

There is something here for beginners and experienced divers alike, from shallow reefs teeming with life to sheer vertical walls overgrown with corals and sponges. With three marine protected areas and status as an international shark sanctuary, fish life is prolific and shark sightings are frequent. Visibility averages eighty to a hundred feet, temperatures sit in the low eighties, and there is generally little to no current.

As a PADI Resort with a multi-national team, the centre offers PADI scuba diving and Nitrox, an onsite training pool, and equipment rental. Staff speak English, Spanish, Dutch, French and Filipino, making it a welcoming choice for divers from around the world.
