About St. Thomas Dive Center

St. Thomas Dive Center welcomes divers of every level, from first-timers to seasoned pros, on the south east side of Saint Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center with 4 PADI instructors, the team keeps groups small and service personal — an instructor is in the water with you on every dive to help you get the most from each site.

Dive sites and marine life

Boat dives explore reefs and wrecks including Cow Rock, Calf Rock, the Wreck of Cartanza Senora and Dive Flag Rock, with conditions varied enough to suit vastly different experience levels. Below the surface you may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, eels, corals and much more.

Trips leave from the dock just outside the door at Bolongo Bay Beach Resort. The center provides all gear along with drinking water, lemonade and candy, and backs it up with an onsite training pool, classroom, air fills and equipment service. Staff speak English and Dutch.

We had a great time diving with St. Thomas Diving Club in Bolongo Bay The service was among the best I have ever experienced. The dive shop took care of everything. All we had to do was show up each morning and hop off the boat when we got back. The dive crew were friendly and very professional. They took us to beautiful dive sites and knew where the sea life was hanging out. We saw what must have been a 10lb lobster (it was huge!), multiple octopii, a five foot turtle, beautiful coral and lots of fish. The boat is a nice size- fast enough to get to all the dive sites, but small enough that there aren't so many divers. On one trip there was a diver who has been coming back for 25 years and some boy scouts who were getting certified. Everyone had a fantastic time. I can't wait to comeback!
