Since summer 2002, Starfish Diving School has run diving holidays in Malta from St. Julian's, right on the seafront of St. George's Bay. Its waterfront base makes shore and boat diving equally easy, and the school runs daily throughout the year at times to suit your schedule — whether you want a single dive or several, from shore or by boat.

Courses and diving

As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre with 4 PADI Instructors, Starfish offers a full range of recreational courses, from absolute beginners through to would-be instructors. Options run from a PADI Discover Scuba Diving taster and Open Water Diver to Advanced Open Water, plus a PADI Enriched Air Diver course from USD 54. Nitrox and Trimix are available to suitably qualified divers.

Daily trips head to the neighbouring islands of Gozo and Comino, with plenty of wreck and boat diving on offer — sites include the Um El Faroud oil tanker, the P-29 patrol boat, the Tug Boat Rozi at Cirkewwa, HMS Maori and Comino's Blue Lagoon. Whether you're chasing wreck dives, night dives or your very first breaths underwater, it suits everyone from newcomers to experienced divers.
