A Kuwait dive centre built around the water

StingRay Diver Center sits on the waterfront in Kuwait, and the family of divers behind it works from a simple premise: marine life matters, the environment is worth protecting, and clients should leave having genuinely enjoyed themselves. Safety guidance comes first, and the atmosphere on trips is deliberately friendly rather than formal.

As a PADI 5 Star IDC, the centre covers a broad range of training — PADI Scuba Diving, Freediving, Mermaid, Snorkelling, and First Aid (EFR) — supported by an onsite training pool, a classroom, and an aquarium/deep pool. It's a PADI Purpose Built Facility, so the teaching spaces are part of the design rather than an afterthought.

Practicalities are well covered: air fills, nitrox, equipment sales, and rentals spanning scuba, kids', and freediving gear, plus scooter (DPV) hire. There's a dive boat, a retail shop, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, food and drinks, and parking. A dive club and travel services round things out, and staff speak English, Spanish, and Arabic.

It suits divers who want structured training and several water activities in one place — from first-timers and families through to those working toward instructor level.
