Strømsholmen Sjøsportsenter AS

On Norway's Atlantic coast in Trøndelag, Strømsholmen Sjøsportsenter has been a professional dive centre since 1981, welcoming guests and divers from all over the world. As a PADI Dive Center with an onsite classroom and PADI scuba diving instruction, it's well suited to divers building their skills as well as those chasing colder-water adventure.

Diving the area

This stretch of ocean and fjords is a natural eldorado for sports divers, with more than 100 dive sites within short range. Warmed by the Gulf Stream, the waters hold a remarkably rich marine life — more than 1400 species — alongside giant kelp forests, drop-offs, current diving along the Atlanterhavsveien, canyons, white sandy sea beds and a great number of wrecks at different depths. There's even diving with seals, and fish-filled sites such as Alpetoppen.

The centre supports your trip with air fills, equipment sales, service and repairs, and scuba rental, plus a dive club for those who want to keep coming back. Staff speak English, Spanish and Norwegian, making it an easy base for visiting divers.
