Subsurface Malolo

As Fiji's multi-award-winning diving and watersports company, Subsurface Malolo has built its reputation as a PADI 5 Star operation in the heart of the Mamanuca Islands. Based at the friendly, relaxing Musket Cove island resort, the centre spreads across three locations — Musket Cove, Malolo and Plantation Island Resort — and also services a string of neighbouring island resorts.

Diving with Subsurface

With water averaging a balmy 27C (82F) and a team of 12 PADI Instructors, this is an easy, welcoming place to learn or log more dives. The coral environments here sit between 2 – 30 minutes from the dive shops, taking in Fiji's oldest and largest Marine Sanctuary and the beautiful Malolo barrier reef. Divers can mix things up with drift dives, night dives, wreck dives and an action-packed shark encounter.

Crucially, Subsurface also runs dive sites suited to children and novice divers, so it works just as well for families and first-timers as it does for experienced divers chasing variety. Equipment rental, including children's sizes, and freediving gear round out the offering.
