Summit Dive Center

Tucked away in Houwan Village on the southern tip of Taiwan, Summit Dive Center serves divers exploring the waters around Orchid Island. As a PADI 5 Star IDC, it sits at the higher end of PADI's training facilities and offers PADI scuba diving instruction guided by a resident PADI instructor.

Courses, facilities and services

Everything you need for training is on hand. An onsite training pool and dedicated classroom give students a comfortable, focused place to learn, with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi to round out the setup. There's also onsite accommodation and parking, making it easy to base yourself here for the duration of a course.

Beyond instruction, the center handles Nitrox fills, equipment sales, and a full range of scuba gear rental. Staff speak Mandarin and Chinese, and the center keeps consistent hours, open from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM every day of the week. It's a practical, well-equipped choice for divers learning or refreshing their skills around Orchid Island.
