Sunlover Reef Cruises

Since 1991, Sunlover Reef Cruises has been introducing visitors from all corners of the globe to the Great Barrier Reef. This Australian-owned and operated company runs its tours from Cairns, and after all these decades on the water, the reef isn't just its business — it's a genuine passion shared by a team of up to 100 people, some of whom have been showing guests around for close to 30 years.

Diving with Sunlover

As a PADI Resort with a PADI Instructor on the team, Sunlover offers PADI Scuba Diving and PADI Snorkelling, along with conservation activities for those who want to give something back to the reef. English, Japanese and Chinese are all spoken on board. The home base for underwater adventures is the Sunlover Moore Pontoon, where the surrounding waters bring encounters with sharks, turtles, whales, ocean fish, molluscs and crustaceans, and more.

Whether you're an experienced diver, a first-time snorkeller or someone who simply wants to admire the reef, Sunlover suits everyone. On-board comforts include air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, food and drinks, a dive boat and parking — an Eco Certified operator sharing the reef with care.
