For divers heading to El Nido, Tabanka Scuba Diving Inc offers a relaxed home base on Lugadia Beach, one of the loveliest sunset spots in Palawan. A PADI 5 Star Resort under German management since 2012, the centre is staffed by 4 PADI instructors and welcomes guests in English, French and German.

Courses and dives for every level

Whether you're starting out or building experience, there's a path here: Discover Scuba sessions, the Open Water Course with dive insurance included, the Advanced Certificate (with one fun dive free), and the Rescue Diver Course. Certified divers can join fun dives from USD 79 with full gear and lunch included. The centre also offers Air Fills, Equipment Sales and PADI First Aid – EFR training.

Local dive sites include Paradise Beach, West Entalula Wall, Popolcan West (Under Water Forrest), Nat Nat, Dilumacad Island and South Miniloc, where divers may encounter sharks, turtles, rays and ocean fish. On land, expect an onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, a dive boat and the centre's own onsite accommodation.
