Taiwan Dive Buddy

Taiwan Dive Buddy is a PADI 5 Star IDC based in Taipei, and its focus is unmistakable: training divers at every stage of the journey. The centre offers the full range of PADI courses, from Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Rescue through Specialities, right up to professional ratings including Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Instructor, Specialty Instructor, MSDT and Staff Instructor. Emergency First Response (EFR/EFRI) rounds out the beginner path.

Technical training and beyond

For divers chasing depth and complexity, there are Technical courses spanning Tec 40, 45 and 50, Sidemount, Trimix and Gas Blender, along with Fully Containment (CCR) diving. The centre also runs off-site training and offers internship and job guidance, resume consulting and entrepreneurial support for those building a career in diving.

Local diving unfolds at 龍洞灣4號潛點-和美國小, with marine life including sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, eels, echinoderms, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones and jellyfish. An onsite classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, Nitrox and equipment sales support students throughout, with English, Mandarin and Chinese spoken.
