Tarpoon Skin Diving Center

Since Mike Kevorkian founded it in 1952, Tarpoon Skin Diving Center has spent more than 70 years welcoming divers into the water off Miami. It's a full-service PADI Dive Center with five PADI Instructors, and the team of instructors, dive masters, and crew put their experience toward making sure you have the best time possible.

Courses and diving

This is a full-service dive shop offering daily dive and snorkel charters alongside PADI certification courses, from scuba diving and snorkelling to EFR first aid, plus conservation activities. Nitrox and air fills, equipment sales, scuba rental, and a gear repair shop round out the services, with training taking place in the onsite pool and classroom before you head out on the dive boat.

Miami's waters here are home to sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, and more. With air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, and marina garage parking on hand — and English spoken throughout — Tarpoon suits everyone from first-timers learning in the pool to certified divers looking for a knowledgeable local crew.
