Tauchschule Yachtdiver Weissensee

Tucked into Techendorf at the heart of the Nature Reserve Community Lake Weissensee — the clearest, cleanest swimming lake in the Alps — Tauchschule Yachtdiver Weissensee is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort built around crystal-clear, drinking-water-quality lake diving. Reach the dive spots by shore, by van into the nature park, or on half-day and full-day boat trips. The 300m² indoor base and 3000m² beach facilities cover everything for a relaxed dive holiday: free WiFi, a diver's bar, shop, changing cubicle, air fills (200 and 300 bar, Argon, Nitrox), lounge, terrace and equipment storage.

Courses and dive sites

With 3 PADI Instructors, the school runs courses from beginner all the way to instructor level across ProTec, PADI, CMAS-VIT and SSI. It's known worldwide for ice diving, with courses and ice dives offered daily from mid-December to the end of February.

Dive sites around the lake include Little Canada, Rock Ronacher, Stone Island, Große Steinwand, Grissini Bay, Rose Garden, Eldas Wrack and more. With water reaching up to 25°C, it suits divers chasing both summer clarity and winter ice — and families combining a diving trip with a wider holiday. English and German spoken.
