Three decades of Swiss diving

Tauchsport Uster has been part of Switzerland's diving scene for over 30 years, and the passion that started it all still runs the place today. What began as a hobby for the exotic, the crazy and the adventurous has grown into something far more accessible — as gear got safer and more professional, diving opened up to everyone.

The centre now operates from a bright, spacious shop on Apothekerstrasse in Uster, home to a PADI 5 Star IDC diving school with 14 PADI instructors on the team. Alongside the classroom you'll find air fills, nitrox, equipment sales, and rental gear for both adults and kids. Wi-Fi is free, parking is on site, and staff work in English and German.

Local diving centres on sites including Kleiner Parkplatz, Grosser Parkplatz, Riff Williams, Strandbad Niederuster and Silsersee / Plaun Da Lej. Their signature Mittwochstauchen session runs around three hours, from USD 180. With PADI Scuba Diving, Freediving and Adaptive Diving on offer, it suits everyone from first-timers to instructor candidates.
