TechWise

TechWise is a technical-diving specialist based in the heart of Malta, in St Julian's. The team is led by a full-time Platinum Course Director and DSAT Instructor Trainer, backed by 2 Master Instructors, 4 IDC Staff Instructors, and IANTD and TDI Instructors — a deep bench for divers serious about going further.

Training and dive sites

The centre has its own house reef on the doorstep, plus 2 pools for training. All the main hot-spot dive sites sit within about 20 minutes, offering clear, warm, blue water and wrecks to suit every level. Notable sites include the Um El Faroud oil tanker, the P-29 patrol boat, the Tug Boat Rozi at Cirkewwa, the Blue Hole and remains of the Azure Window, and HMS Stubborn.

The course menu runs from PADI TEC45 (from USD 353) up through Tec50, Tec Trimix, and a full range of CCR options including Tec 40, 60, and 100 CCR, alongside 50m open- and closed-circuit dive packages. Staff speak Polish, Spanish, Italian, English, Dutch, and German — a strong fit for technical divers ready to push their limits.
