The Dive Shop

The Dive Shop is a full-service, land-based PADI 5 Star Dive Center in Richmond, Virginia, staffed by a dozen PADI instructors. With an onsite, air-conditioned classroom, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop and parking, it's set up to take you from your first breath underwater through advanced and technical training.

Courses and services

Training spans PADI Scuba Diving, PADI TecRec and PADI First Aid – EFR, so there's a clear path whether you're starting out or pushing into technical depths. The shop also handles air fills, Nitrox and mixed gas, equipment sales, servicing and repairs, plus scuba, kids' and travel gear rental.

Divers here encounter sharks, whales, turtles, sharks and rays, ocean fish and freshwater fish among the local marine life. English is spoken, and the shop is open Monday through Saturday. It suits new divers, families and technically minded divers alike looking for a well-equipped home base in Richmond.
