The Remote Resort

The Rainbow Reef — discovered by Jacques Cousteau and now known as the soft coral capital of the world — starts just minutes from The Remote Resort in Viani Bay, Fiji. Slip into turquoise waters and work your way through the Great White Wall, Cabbage Patch, Fish Factory and around twenty other dive sites, guided by professional PADI-qualified instructors and dive masters.

Diving for every level

The Remote Resort runs diving on the Rainbow Reef for divers of all levels of experience and expertise. There are deep wall drop-offs and shallow drift dives in the area, plus a House Reef right in front of the resort — so there's something here for everyone, whether you want a big blue day or an easy potter close to home.

Courses start with Discover Scuba for anyone wanting to take their first breaths underwater, and continue through PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue and Divemaster. It's a PADI Resort with 2 PADI Instructors, an onsite classroom, a dive boat and full scuba equipment rental. English is the language spoken, and the waterfront setting comes with onsite accommodation, food and drinks, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
