The Travel Connection & Scubaventures

High in Colorado's Western Slope, The Travel Connection & Scubaventures holds a distinction worth noting: it's the region's only PADI facility. With three PADI Instructors on hand, it's built to take you from your very first breath underwater all the way toward master-level diving in a safe, qualified environment.

Courses, sites and who it suits

Whether you're just beginning or ready to advance, this Grand Junction dive center covers the journey. Local dive sites include Blue Hole and Homestead Crater, and the waters here turn up an unusual mix of marine life — sharks, whales, turtles and freshwater fish among them. Services run to air fills, nitrox, PADI Scuba Diving and PADI Freediving.

On site you'll find a classroom, air conditioning, a retail shop and parking, plus a full range of rental gear from BCDs and regulators to 3mm, 5mm and 7mm wetsuits, dive computers and aluminum cylinders. Instruction is offered in English, making it a welcoming base for new and returning divers alike.
