Trident Diving Company

Trident Diving Company is a PADI Dive Center based in Tokyo, Japan, founded on May 8, 2023 to bring top-notch recreational diving to the military communities in and around Yokosuka Naval Base. With two PADI Instructors on the team, it's a welcoming home base for anyone looking to explore the underwater world of Japan.

Courses and local diving

Instruction runs the full spectrum, from the introductory Discover Scuba experience all the way up to Assistant Instructor, with a wide range of courses in between. Divers can also sharpen their skills with PADI First Aid – EFR training, backed by an onsite training pool and classroom.

Beyond the classroom, Trident runs local dive charters that open up diving off base. Explore sites such as GROTTO, Lau Lau Beach, Wing Crevasse, Wing Arch, Banzai, Barracuda Point and the American Wreck, where you might encounter sharks, turtles, rays and plenty of ocean fish. With equipment sales, rentals and conservation activities on offer, it's well suited to service members and their families ready to discover Japan below the surface.
