True North

True North is a PADI 5 Star IDC dive centre based in Tokyo, Japan, backed by a team of 8 PADI Instructors. As a purpose-built facility, it's set up to guide divers from their very first breaths underwater through to professional-level training, all in Japanese.

Courses and services

The centre delivers a full spread of PADI training, including PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Freediving, PADI Mermaid and PADI Snorkelling, along with PADI First Aid – EFR courses and a focus on Conservation. Whatever direction your diving takes, there's a pathway here to match it.

True North also handles the practical side of diving life, with Equipment Sales and rentals covering scuba, freediving, kids' and travel gear — from BCDs, regulators and dive computers to 5mm wetsuits, drysuits, masks and fins in children's sizes. On-site parking rounds out the setup, making True North a well-rounded home base for divers of all ages and experience levels.
