Local diving and services

Closer to home, divers head to Haigh Quarry, where you might encounter sharks, whales, turtles and freshwater fish. The facility keeps an onsite classroom, a retail shop and parking, and rounds things out with air fills, equipment sales, service and repairs, and scuba gear rental.

Underseas is also the authorized service center for Suunto dive computers, and services Aqualung, Huish brands, Hollis and Oceanic. With an active dive club and instructor-led travel, it suits anyone in the Chicago area looking to certify, keep their gear ready and stay connected to a diving community. Classes are conducted in English.
