Vomo Island Resort

Set between the Mamanuca and Yasawa Island groups, Vomo Island Resort is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort whose diving begins just minutes from shore. Five dive spots sit close by, with constantly warm waters and wonderful visibility that make each descent easy to enjoy. Expect swim-through caves, thrilling channels, coral-filled overhangs, tunnels and boulders across a massive volcanic reef.

Marine life and dive sites

Drift the channels alongside white tips, Giant Trevallies and Blue fin King fish, or descend deep sea ridges where napoleon wrasses and spotted eagle rays cruise past. Look for turtles, vast schools of butterflyfish and oriental sweetlips. In the shallows off Mamanucas and Yasawa Beach, snorkellers meet parrotfish, blue linckia sea stars, small reef sharks and anemone fish.

Vomo PADI Ocean Play Dive Centre offers tailor-made programmes and specialty courses with two PADI instructors. All dives are boat dives aboard a fully shaded 8.6-metre vessel, with numbers limited to six per boat. Quality Aqualung equipment, an onsite training pool and classroom round out the experience — ideal for divers who value personalised attention.
