Water Quest

Perched on the shore of Coatepeque Lake in El Salvador, Water Quest is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center — a place where diving is taught from the very first breath underwater all the way through to the instructor rating. Every course is run by a PADI Course Director, backed by a team of 4 PADI Instructors, so learners are guided by experienced hands at each step.

Courses and diving for every level

The centre's PADI programmes span Scuba Diving, TecRec, Freediving, First Aid — EFR, Public Safety Diver, and Adaptive Diving, making it a fitting home for complete beginners and career-minded divers alike. An onsite classroom and dive boat support the training, alongside air fills, equipment sales, and scuba gear rental.

Diving unfolds in the volcanic crater lake and in the Pacific Ocean, where Water Quest also keeps facilities. Local dive sites include Sunglasses and the Underwater forest, with marine life ranging from sharks and whales to turtles and ocean fish. Courses and guiding are offered in both English and Spanish.
