Tucked away on Panglao Island in the Philippines, Hidden Rules Diving Center is a PADI Five Star Instructor Development Center backed by 7 PADI instructors and a teaching team that puts your diving safety first. Sitting in a waterfront location just a 15-minute drive from Tagbilaran Airport, the shop runs both scuba and freediving programmes — with course directors and instructor trainers overseeing the quality every step of the way.

Courses and local diving

The centre offers a full range of training, from complete beginner through to instructor level, alongside PADI Freediving, Mermaid, Snorkelling and EFR First Aid. With an onsite training pool and classroom, it suits everyone from first-timers to divers chasing a professional rating.

Local dive sites include Alona Beach House Reef, Tawala MPA, Hoyo Hoy, Sunrise, BBC, Arco Point, Kalipayan, Bita-Ug, Gak-Ang, Puntod and Danao Wall — waters home to sharks, turtles, rays, reef fish and vibrant corals. Air fills, Nitrox, equipment rental and sales round out the services, with staff speaking English, Mandarin and Malayalam.
