★ 5 · Barbora B. · 2023-01-03I don´t even know, where to start :) When we were planning holiday in the Maldives we were afraid that longer stay than one week on a small island like Feridhoo could have been little boring, but we couldn´t be more wrong. During the search for the perfect spot for diving, food and accomodation, Villa Rosa cought our attention. From that point it was pure pleasure for all senses. From the friend of mine i heard that in general food in Maldives is not so good, but you don´t have to be afraid at all in Villa Rosa. Italian/Maldivian fusion at it´s best! There was plenty of delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner - the italian style - so i was full after the pasta and there were two more courses coming after that for dinner, but the food wasn´t wasted! We ate at one big table so you could everytime find someone still hungry :p So 5* for food and 100* for my afternoon capuccino, thank you Michela <3 - only Italians will understand the possible issue :D Definitely recommend the place for cat lovers! There were 9 of them and three new cute kittens were born during our stay. Rooms are superb clean and cozy, with beautifull outdoor bathroom. I should also mention the music in common area - garden and dining area - amazing attention to detail. The place has simply the best from both worlds - Maldivian exotic and Italian hospitality. We simply felt more like a part of the family than guests and we adored it! And now to the matter of why we actually came here - diving. I would say the best experience with diving so far. There are many diving spots around the island so you can see different corals, sharks, manta rays, marble rays, eagle rays, schools of fishes, also a ship wrack. They simply now what they do. The team is an A team. Claudio with more experience than i have years :D Muhkuthar who can tell you how the tide is according to the moon (come on how cool is that!) and if you want to experience tons of fun - ask for Toniutta :D What more to say... WE ARE COMING BACK!
