It's the perfect option for solo divers that want to avoid those single-occupancy fees, having also shared cabins for pairs/couples. The vessel, although not new, is really well maintained so it doesn't feel its true age and I loved the fact that almost all decks, except for the lower deck where the cabin is located are open on their side so there's a constant breeze going through the top and middle decks. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They try to cater as much as possible to guests' needs and requests whenever possible and really make you feel welcome and cared for. Rental dive gear is in perfect condition but if you'd rather use open-heel fins, make sure to bring your own booties as they don't rent out those and will force you to use full foot fins. The diving itself is really good, lots of healthy reefs. The biggest group of divers per guide I saw during the week I spent diving with at the MV Andaman was 5 although most commonly it's between 2 and 4 divers per DM. They're also very knowledgeable of all divesites we went to, knowing what to do depending on the conditions at the divesite. A few times we saw groups from other vessels that would be all over the place fighting current, not knowing how to adapt to the conditions of that particular divesite. I would 100% recommend diving the Similans on the MV Andaman with Seadragon Dive Center. I know I'll definitely be back!
