★ 5 · Tiffany Hall · 2026-02-14This was our first live aboard and because of our positive experience on The Deep Andaman Queen it won't be our last. Steve was absolutely phenomenal. He was incredibly knowledgeable and was very thorough on all of our dive briefings. He had great communication skills, stuck to our agenda and updated the dive plans on the board if needed. He focused on our safety and reinforced this at every stop. He paid close attention to the other boats in the area and staggered our dive times to be sure we wouldn't be diving in overcrowded dive sites. He also was very friendly with a great sense of humor and was totally accommodating if we ever needed help. The rest of the crew was outstanding. They were always willing to lend a hand if needed and made sure everything was prepped and ready without issue. We were pleasantly surprised at the variety of the food on board, the menu was different every day and we had plenty of snack breaks between dives and larger meals. We weren't expecting much in the way of food so we were really happy about how good everything was, especially the meal on the last night from the barbeque! We were also lucky to have a videographer, Andy, on board who made sure to get plenty of footage when asked. The rooms were spacious and clean and it was nice to have our own bathroom. We highly recommend this boat and crew! Seeing the whale shark also wasn't too shabby :)
★ 5 · Olivia Williamson · 2025-10-27This was our first liveaboard dive trip, and it certainly won’t be our last. But oh, how the Deep Andaman Queen has now set our bar very high! First off, you just can’t go wrong with diving from such a big, luxurious, well-equipped, comfortable boat in such a beautiful part of the world. The dives and marine life are world-class, and you’re doing it all in relative ease and style. The Deep Andaman Queen’s staff are phenomenal, friendly, and make you feel extremely well cared for and looked after. Captain Wat has decades of experience in the area, and made smart decisions around weather and conditions throughout the trip to always keep our safety as the top priority. We really appreciated that level of care! Steve’s vast experience diving, especially in the Similan and Surin islands and at these specific dive sites, helped us learn so much. We are huge underwater nerds, and delighted in feeling out with him and soaking up some of his knowledge. We were privileged to have the wonderful Nui as our dive guide, who is laid back, silly, and fun while clearly being super experienced and skilled underwater. We knew we were in great hands with her, and she looked after our safety expertly while also giving us the freedom to explore and not feel babied. Truly the perfect balance in a dive guide! She also has an uncanny ability to spot marine life long before anyone else has a clue it’s there, which we really benefited from. Max is an incredible barista that makes the most delicious lattes and ginger tea (highly recommend the later if you’re feeling off or seasick at all!) He is also a great all-around crew member who always goes the extra mile to make things easy and comfortable for guests. The FOOD on this boat was to die for! Seriously, every meal kept getting better and better. We especially loved the thai dishes, from curries to noodles to stir fries to mango sticky rice. Eating every delicious meal was truly a highlight of the whole trip! Overall, we could not be more delighted by our trip on the Deep Andaman Queen. We easily could’ve stayed onboard and continued diving for at least another week if not more, and we didn’t want to go home! We will DEFINITELY be back :) Thank you!!!
