Fly into SJD. Cabo. Expedition yacht might leave from Cabo or La Paz. Sailing catamaran leaves from La Paz. Complimentary photo and video workshop at SeeCreatures Cabo San Lucas. Either 5 pm meet and board in Cabo or mid-afternoon transfer to La Paz. Please Note: This is a sample itinerary and nº of dives, dive sites, etc. may be subject to change due to weather conditions and other unforeseeable factors.
We usually start our mornings at our favorite spot, watching mobula rays joyfully leaping. Then we’ll weigh anchor and set off. During your week onboard, we aim to get you in the water with mega pods of bottlenose dolphins. If we're lucky, we might spot spinner and Risso’s dolphins, famous for their amazing aerobatics. We'll also encounter California sea lions, mobula rays, and hopefully cow-nose rays. Our naturalist will stay in touch with a network of friends and colleagues to track big animals in the area. Scout, our spotter aircraft, will fly as often as possible, weather permitting. We hope for interactions with whale sharks and will actively search for sperm whales, fin whales, and occasionally minkes and pseudo orcas. The highlight of any trip is spotting orcas' black fins slicing through the water. All interactions comply with Mexican laws and regulations. For diving enthusiasts, bring your gear, and we’ll ensure some dives at local sites. Several evenings, we’ll anchor for in-water night interactions with mobulas. Otherwise, enjoy the sunset, cocktail hour, dinner, and an evening presentation. Note that using our fast boat strategically will ensure the best sightings and interactions, though it may involve spending time in the smaller boat searching for marine creatures.
Breakfast and disembarkation around 8:30 am. Complimentary coach transfer back to SJD if you are in La Paz. Unfortunately our trip has come to an end and we have to say goodbye, but we hope to see you again soon!

Nobody does a better job at finding bait balls than Captain G and his family and friends. Spend as much or as little time as you want on the water each day. The more time, the more striped marlin encounters. Scuba diving is definitely on the agenda on this trip. Magdalena Bay is loaded with life this time of year, and aside from the marlin, you might also spot whales, dolphins, turtles, sharks and sea lions. ★ 5 · Lucretia Loescher · 2021-07-01The most amazing vacation since long time... not only because of the wonderful animals around Socorro. The crew - literally everyone on the boat - did an outstanding job to make this the most memorable liveaboard trip ever and it was unforgetable! They were truely kind with a great sense of humor and very committed and caring when it comes to safety as well. I dive since 20 years. If I should recommend one trip, it would be this one. And...since Mexico put the "Archiliélago De Revillagigedo" under protection you still see big schools of fish and the animals consider divers as random visitors - they don't swim away immediately. IT WAS A BLAST! Many thanks for this heartwarming experience.
★ 5 · Ronnie Gray · 2018-08-15Well I am going again on Oct 10, 2018 because it was 1 of the best things I can remember ever doing. From crew to boat and the island of Guadalupe it’s 10
