About Princess Rani

The Princess Rani sails the Maldives year-round, running 7–10-night itineraries across a spread of atolls — North Male, South Male, Ari, Felidhoo, Rasdhoo, Raa, Thaa, Meemu, Vaavu, the Central Atolls and, on the longer southern crossings, Addu. Routes such as Male–Addu and Addu–Fuvamulah–Suvadiva–Addu take you well beyond the usual circuit, and the boat keeps a dedicated tiger shark itinerary for divers who want to make that encounter the point of the trip.

Diving and life on board

Nothing here follows a fixed track. A rough route is confirmed at the start of each safari, then adapted day by day around the season, the weather and what you want to see, with daily briefings and a site map before every dive. The Male–Addu run covers eight nights and roughly 17 dives, and asks for Open Water certification with 30 logged dives. The yacht was custom built for diving: nitrox, a shaded dive area, DIN adaptors, rinse hoses, a separate rinse for underwater cameras and tenders to reach the sites.

Back on deck, this 35-metre yacht takes 22 guests across 11 cabins with a crew ratio of nearly 1:1. Expect en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, seaview and family cabins, an air-conditioned saloon with a library, a sun deck, outdoor dining and gourmet Italian-inspired cuisine. Snorkellers are welcome too.

Malé (Embarkation) Meet at the airport meeting point at 9:30 AM. Transfer to the boat and check in around 11:00 AM (depending on flight arrival time). Welcome briefing, equipment setup, and the first dive briefing. Depending on the time, enjoy an easy check dive in the afternoon. Dinner onboard. Day 2–10: Maldives Diving Safari (Classic + Felidhu/Mulaku Route) Enjoy a flexible diving program exploring some of the most beautiful dive areas in the Maldives, including the central atolls and southern highlights such as Felidhu (Vaavu) and the Mulaku region. Malé (Disembarkation) Breakfast onboard. Check-out at 7:00 AM, followed by transfer back to Malé airport. Marine Life: Large pelagic fish (sharks, sea-eagles, tuna, etc), turtles, reef fish, butterfly, dentex, tropical corvine, groupers, skates, and napoleon fish. The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip at around 9 am. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive. PLEASE NOTE: Should the minimum number of guests to guarantee this departure not be reached, the operator might rebook the guests to their sister boat with the same quality standards and doing the same itinerary.
