Dive Bequiaについて
ベルモント・ウォークウェイにあるジンジャーブレッドの庭園にひっそりとたたずむダイブ・ベコキアは、カリブ海で最も美しいダイブショップかもしれない。PADI 5 スター ダイブリゾートとして、4 名の PADI インストラクターを擁し、毎日 0830 から 1630 までダイバーを歓迎している。水辺に立地するため、ジンジャーブレッド・コンプレックスの桟橋からそのまま2隻のダイブボートに乗り込むことができ、出港がたいへんスムーズだ。
コースとダイビング
ベコキアのなだらかな傾斜のサンゴ礁は、初心者や中級者ダイバーにうってつけ。そのため、チームではディスカバースキューバダイビングからオープンウォーターダイバーコース、アドバンスドオープンウォーター、そして久しぶりのダイバー向けにスキルを復習できるリアクティベートまで、PADI のトレーニングを一通り提供している。一般的な1日は、午前に2本のタンクを使ったダイビングを楽しみ、午後は1本のタンクで潜るスタイル。ボートからのガイドダイブももちろん可能だ。
デビルズテーブルなどのダイブポイントでは、アオウミガメやブラックチップシャーク、全長1.8メートルにもなるタローンの群れのほか、ほとんど目立たない小さなシーホースやバスケットスター、ハーレキンパイプフィッシュ、ときおりバットフィッシュといった個性的な生き物との出会いも期待できる。美しいビーチと名高いフレンドリーな人々が魅力のベコキアは、のんびりとした雰囲気の中で温かい海のサンゴ礁を楽しみたいダイバーにぴったりの場所だ。指導言語は英語。

★ 5 · Jane & Ross Logan · 2010-03-22After a number of years watching the Dive Bequia Team & their divers heading out from the dock for another adventure, we decided to take the plunge and learn to dive. In 2009, we obtained our Open Water Certification with Dive Bequia. It was a fantastic experience and we decided to return this year to continue our training. We can't say enough positive things about the Dive Bequia Team. The owners, Bob and Cathy, set the tone at this family-owned dive shop. It is a welcoming, inviting spot. Cathy has a wealth of knowledge about Bequia and everything to do with diving. She was a tremendous help and went out of her way to answer all our questions. The Dive Instructors and Dive Masters both years were very professional, knowledgeable and FUN. This year we were diving with Chris and Liz. We had a great time developing our skills and becoming more confident divers. They were able to easily accomodate our individual needs, interests and skill levels into the dives. The trips were well organized, relaxed and while there was a sense of fun and adventure, at no time was safety compromised. Chris has a unique ability to encourage the timid and challenge the brave ... and leave you feeling great about your diving experiences. Many thanks, Chris.
