Undersea Tobago Ltd.は、デレクとエヴリン・チュン夫妻が運営するPADIダイブセンターです。トバゴの海で30年以上のダイビング経験を持つふたりは、地元ならではの知識と確かな技術で、すべてのダイビングを安全かつスリリングな体験に仕上げます。拠点を構えるのはストアベイにある受賞歴多数のCoco Reef Resort。認定ダイバー向けの2本ダイブは、リゾートのプライベートビーチから出発します。
コースとダイビング
初めての方はPADI Discover Scuba Divingでスキューバダイビングの第一歩を踏み出し、もう少し水中時間を楽しみたい方にはハーフデイダイブトリップがぴったりです。1本のタンクを使ったレッスンダイブやシュノーケリングトリップも充実しており、初心者から経験者まで安心して楽しめるラインナップです。
ダイブエリアはカリブ海側および南岸に広がり、岩礁には色鮮やかな付着性スポンジやサンゴが覆い茂ります。フライングリーフ、Maverick Wreck、Cove Ledge、Mount Irvine Wall、Diver's Thirstといった特徴豊かなダイブポイントを巡り、サンゴ礁、ドロップオフダイブ、レックダイブと、変化に富んだ地形を存分に味わえます。すべての説明やガイドは英語で行われます。

★ 4 · Louise Rettie · 2010-03-26I had a great time diving with Undersea Tobago and would recommend them to divers whether experienced or not. The Undersea Tobago diveboat is moored in the Coco Reef hotel's swimming lagoon so getting on and off the boat is very easy; the dive shop is a few yards away on the beach. Marlon and Ellis, the divemasters, were helpful, knowledgeable and great fun. They assisted those who wanted help with their kit but stood back for those happy to assemble their own. With fairly strong currents and surface swells on most dives, the dive entries and exits were well choreographed and managed. During my stay we only dived at the southern end of the island (will have to go back another time to dive Speyside!) but there's a lot to see. The drift dives (such as Flying Reef, Cove and Runway) are quite fast so you need to concentrate hard on staying in touch with the rest of the group whilst appreciating the abundant soft coral and marine life. The Maverick is a simple dive and a good introduction to wrecks. The diveshop provides clean rinse tanks and hanging/drying space for kit, and secure overnight storage. I'd recommend wearing a full wetsuit (3mm+) as though the water is warm on the surface, it can get chilly on a morning 2 tank dive trip.
