★ 5 · Aparna S. · 2022-01-24Our stay at Aveyla Manta Village was amazing! We stayed there for a week at the beginning of January 2022. Ahmed, the manager there is the friendliest and the most resourceful person. The resort has an amazing restaurant and very comfy rooms with good Wifi. The island of Dharavandhoo is the perfect place to go if you are looking for a quiet dive vacation. The island has 3-4 restaurants and is surrounded by amazing marine life. The resort is right by the beach and offers a great snorkelling experience right at its doorstep. We travelled there to dive and the island of Dharavandhoo is surrounded by great Dive Spots. Also, the resident cat at the resort, Salt will be the purrrfect cuddle bum to make you feel right at home there. I am definitely visiting Aveyla Manta Village again, hopefully during the Manta Season.

The Aveyla staff could not have been more wonderful, particularly those working with the associated dive center Liquid Salt Divers. The dive masters were absolutely fantastic, such that we felt safe, comfortable, and informed - not to mention, blown away by the dive sites! Everyone at the hotel is incredibly knowledgeable about Baa Atoll and the marine life (the Manta Rays!!) patterns. The perfect place for a low-key dive vacation!
