Boutique Beach All-Inclusive Diving Hotel

We are a diving couple in our late 30s with around 100 dives each. We chose Boutique Beach for the first part of our first Maldives diving trip because of the great reviews, local island experience and of course the all-inclusive diving concept created by divers. But what we found exceeded all our expectations: Boutique Beach was the most personal and heartfelt vacation we have ever experienced. The team takes care of everything with incredible attention and warmth: From handling all (!) your dive equipment – from tank changes to rinsing and storage – to recording videos from the dives while fulfilling your diving bucket list, always with great respect for the ocean and its stunning inhabitants. But also above the surface the team naturally creates unforgettable moments like beach barbecues, trips around the local island or picturesque swimming spots with “Robinson Crusoe” feeling. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our first Maldives vacation truly unforgettable, and especially to Mette, our wonderful dive guide. She is without doubt one of the best dive guides we have ever had, especially in terms of safety but always with the right sense of humour. She made every dive pure joy. We arrived as guests and left feeling like family. Boutique Beach is not just a place to stay – it is a feeling we will never forget.

We were looking for a hotel with great diving and a familiar atmosphere on a local island - Boutique Beach Hotel delivered way more than that! From the very first moment when we got picked up at the harbor and stepped foot in the hotel, we felt right at home. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to the new mezzanine rooms which are beautifully furnished and even boost a double outdoor shower! 🤩 The food deserves a special mention as it was delicious and so flavorsome - thank you to the chef and team! We even got to eat on the beach once and sometimes on the boat for longer dive trips. We did seven days of diving and loved the briefings and the videos after every dive day. The boat dives were well organized, the entire team is very competent and made us feel safe - a special thank you to our dive instructor Jessy. While on the boat there were always refreshments available as well. The dives were nothing short of amazing - we got to see so many beautiful dive spots, lots of stunning marine life and even magical encounters with a whale shark and manta rays! ✨ Our holiday was made truly unforgettable by the best team and crew you could wish for - a big thank you to all of you!! 🧡

From the time we arrived, to the very minute we left the island, we were met with warm greetings at the beginning of our adventure, and a heartfelt sendoff when it was time to go. The staff was so very friendly, it felt like being with family. We were met by Afzal, the hotel manager, along with a couple other smiling faces of the staff. After a short briefing of the hotel and diving formalities, we were taken to our room and was met with a wonderful surprise. The trip was to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary, which we happened to mention to the PADI Travel representative, and the room was decorated with beautiful flowers! What a charming gesture! The room was spacious and very clean. Thanks James! The hotel provided tote bags, beach towels and robes! The open air bathroom was delightful. Before dinner, we met the other guests staying at the hotel and we enjoyed watching a video of the day’s diving experience. What a great idea! At the end of the day, the hotel staff, in collaboration with some of the guest’s videos, put together a montage of what they saw on the dive. The video is then uploaded to their YouTube channel for you to always enjoy and share with family and friends. Seb, the dive base leader, then gave us a briefing of the following day’s dive and time of departure. The dinner was under the stars on the hotel rooftop. It was beautifully set with lanterns and flowers. The meal, prepared by Chef Shanthi was superb! The next evening was a surprise dinner on the beach. It was breathtaking, and once again, Chef Shanthi provided another scrumptious meal. However, the biggest surprise was the private dinner for just the two of us. A table was setup on the beach surrounded by candles in the sand and lights in the trees. It was beautiful. Enjoying the sound of the surf, we were served a special meal for our anniversary by candle light. Our hearts were touched. Each day brought new sights and experiences, all under the professional care of our diving guide, Cam. She was great! Our main goal was to see a whale shark, and we did! We also experienced diving with manta rays, sharks, turtles, puffers… the list goes on! Congratulations to the owner and proprietor, Romney, who provided a fantastic and memorable vacation. She pulled together a great team and staff who thought of everything. We hope that we will be able to return some day, and once again enjoy the fabulous hospitality of Boutique Beach and the beautiful Maldives.
