1st2dive

Based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, 1st2dive has been a PADI dive shop, dive school and club since 2010, serving Vlaardingen, Schiedam and the surrounding area. A PADI 5 Star IDC centre, it welcomes divers of all ages and speaks English, Dutch, French and German.

Courses for every level

Younger divers can start with the PADI Bubblemaker and Seal Team programmes, while teens and adults progress from Open Water Diver through Advanced and Rescue Diver, then choose from 34 specialty courses — including underwater photography — on the way to Master Scuba Diver and, eventually, PADI professional ratings.

The centre is especially proud of its work teaching divers with disabilities, an effort recognised by PADI with a Certificate of Recognition for Excellence. Members explore local waters at sites such as the Oosterschelde, Oostvoornse Meer, Zevenhuizerplas and the Scharendijke house reef, and gather afterwards at the club's own 1st2dive Café. It's a friendly, community-minded choice for divers looking to learn, grow and share the sport.
